The Old Fashion Masonic Podcast was founded on a simple belief: Freemasonry is strong enough to withstand honest conversation. Too often, difficult topics are avoided because they are uncomfortable. We believe the opposite approach is needed. When questions arise about Masonic history, leadership, membership, traditions, controversies, or the future of the Craft, they deserve thoughtful discussion rather than silence. Our perspective is shaped by decades of combined experience in lodge leadership, Grand Lodge service, membership development, Masonic education, and interaction with Masons from around the world. Those experiences have reinforced a fundamental truth: organizations grow stronger when they are willing to examine themselves honestly.
We advocate for transparency where possible, accountability where necessary, and education at every opportunity. That does not mean criticizing Freemasonry—it means caring enough about it to have meaningful conversations about its challenges and opportunities. We reject sensationalism, conspiracy theories, and blind loyalty. Instead, we focus on facts, context, and open dialogue. Whether discussing Masonic history, membership trends, leadership decisions, or public misconceptions, our goal is to present information honestly and allow listeners to draw informed conclusions.
